Sanjay is the Founder and CEO of VotaryTech, a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience in the mobility domain. Having started his career with developing laser printer drivers followed by GSM protocol stack, Sanjay played several leadership roles in brining several firsts to market technologies (Dual band, Tri-band, GPRS, UMTS, Internet browser, MMS, Multimedia and many more).

Prior to VotaryTech, Sanjay was heading the Mobile Devices business at Tieto. Sanjay’s entry into the services industry was through a start-up company called Fortuna Technologies, specializing in Mobile Platforms, which was later acquired by Tieto. Sanjay worked as Engineering Manager for Mobile Applications division at Motorola, India. Prior to taking a transfer to Motorola, India, Sanjay spent over 9 years at Motorola’s Mobile Division headquartered in Libertyville, Illinois, U.S.A.

Sanjay started his Motorola career as a software engineer and developed SMS and Cell broadcast stacks on GSM technology and gradually moved up the corporate ladder, taking additional responsibilities. Sanjay took up the leadership role in bringing the first Motorola product with Multimedia (Video capture, Audio) and Mobile Internet browser. Just before moving back to India, Sanjay worked as a Section Manager for Multimedia Group.

Sanjay has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama and a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nagarjuna University.

Co-Founder & VP Engineering



Rohini Polisetty is the Co-Founder and ‘VP of Engineering’ at VotaryTech. She has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of South Alabama, and B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nagarjuna University

After receiving her master’s degree, Rohini continued to work as Quality Engineer at Quality Micro Systems which is a laser printer company (where she earlier did her internship). As a fresher, with her passion for highest quality, she was awarded for delivering the best Quality SW ever delivered in the history of QMS. She then worked for two years at Data General on the embedded control devices to remotely control the High End Data Storage devices.

Rohini moved to Motorola, Chicago where she had a ten year career and later took a transfer to Motorola Hyderabad. During her time at Motorola, Rohini worked as Senior Software Engineer and took the technical ladder, to grow into Principal Software Staff Engineer. She worked on the GPRS / EDGE, 3G Protocol Stack and was known to deliver single handed the first EDGE-RR. Rohini played a key role in delivering the first to the market 3G phone. It was her initiative to develop the remote test automation framework which saved $500million and was eligible for the ‘Six Sigma Green Belt’. She has three US Patents and filed several disclosures. She also handled multiple responsibilities like RFPs for the Protocol Stack, Member of the Patent Committee at Motorola – Hyderabad, champion for Process at Hyderabad Centre.

When Motorola, Hyderabad center relocated to Bangalore, Rohini opted to move out and along with her husband founded VotaryTech.
